New term, new resources

As the summer holidays reach the final weeks here at www.Teacher-of-English.com we have been sprucing up the website and finishing off another new resource to help teachers get the new academic year off to a flying start.
In addition to new resources for Our Day Out and Of Mice and Men we are about to publish a brand new, 186 slide PowerPoint for Willy Russell's Blood Brothers. Blood Brothers bolsters our GCSE resources which continue to grow and grow of which our ever expanding army of members and PAYG users are reaping the benefits.
Blood Brothers was selected as members told us that there aren't a great range of resources available to help teach it. If you have a suggestion about what you'd like to see on the site, please let us know.

Poems from Different Cultures 2

This week sees the launch of our huge Of Mice and Men resource and a focus on the second cluster of poems from other cultures from the AQA Anthology.

Our Of Mice and Men resource is a complete scheme of work for teaching Of Mice and Men. It includes a 272 Powerpoint and accompanying worksheets covering all aspects of the novel to prepare students for success at GCSE.

Poems from Different Cultures Cluster 2 aims provide resources on all 8 poems from the anthology's second set of Poems from Different Cultures. So far Powerpoints include:

Hurricane Hits England

All these resources will be available by the end of the week to members and on the PAYG pages of www.Teacher-of-English.com .

As August begins we look forward to the new school year. New resources in the pipeline include Willy Russell's Blood Brothers and some additional Key Skills materials which will be available over the coming weeks.
