Poems from Different Cultures Cluster 1 is now finished with the addition of Two Scavengers in a Truck, Two Beautiful People in a Mercedes by Lawrence Feerlinghetti. This takes the total to 8 poems and is the first set of powerpoints to be completed. This enables us to begin resources for cluster 2 from September.

New GCSE English Resources

Teacher-of-English.com are about to complete the poems from different cultures cluster one with the final piece of the jigsaw. Two Scavengers in a Truck, Two Beautiful People in a Mercedes is the final English teaching powerpoint which completes the set. This alows us to turn our atention to poems from different cultures cluster two which should hit the site around September. Also in the pipeline is an Introduction to Drama Texts PPT, some shorts on Pathetic Fallacy and bigger resources for Blood Brothers, Of Mice & Men and An Inspector Calls.
As we near the end of the year we have experienced some slowing down but not as much as expected, things are still going really well and the site goes from strength to strength.

English Teaching Resources

The burden of GCSE marking has made it difficult to get much time to do anything at the moment so the blog has been somewhat neglected but it is being updated.

This last couple of weeks Blessing Imtiaz Dharker was added to Teacher-of-English.com and the poems from other cultures pack moved up from 6 to 7, soon to be completed with Two Scavengers in a Truck before we get stuck into cluster 2.
