GCSE English Exams

Only 3 weeks into the new academic year and already things are hotting up. With many school's now taking the option to enter pupils earlier for GCSE in November we are building new resources designed to help prep for the non fiction and media texts section of the exam. So keep an eye on the site for further developments.

If you are preparing pupils for the exam why not take a look at the following resources already available, all useful for revising the key skills needed in the exams no matter what board you're using:

Good luck and have a good week.

As always please feel free to leave a comment, until next time.

2009 Up and Running

The new academic year got underway last week and saw Teacher-of-English.com add a couple of finishing touches to the site. Our resources for Blood Brothers are now fully published and are proving popular with users as are other new resources for Of Mice and Men and Our Day Out but it is Robert Swindell's Stone Cold which is number one in the charts as far as individual sales are concerned.
A big hello and welcome to all our new members. September has seen a steep increase in the number of new teachers joining the site so I would like to offer you a warm welcome to the Teacher-of-English family. I hope you enjoy the benefits of membership and find Teacher-of-English.com a handy resource to add to your teaching tool box.
I hope that all our members had a good break and are looking forward to the new year and all the challenges it brings, it's a big year with the English 2010 curriculum on the horizon, I hope we can help you negotiate your way through the new specifications as we begin to work on materials to fit into the new specifications in the New Year.
On a technical note we have improved our system this week to speed up the website. As the site grows and grows the more web space it eats up so we have upgraded our capacity giving users a quicker browsing and downloading experience.

Well that's it for now. As ever any comments are very welcome, there is an option to leave a comment on the bottom so if you have any suggestions please let us know.

Have a good week.
