GCSE English Resources

With only a matter of days until the GCSE English Literature exam students are making final preparations. Revision of Of Mice and Men and Pre1914 Poetry, Seamus Heaney and Gillian Clarke are now all we have left to cover. A few past papers to look at and the it's up to them to revise and prep properly.
For the group sitting the GCSE English Exam it's a case of revising the above plus poetry from different cultures or poetry from other cultures for the AQA and then reading and writing skills with a focus on reading non-fiction media texts, writing to argue, advise, persuade and inform, describe, etc...
As Year11 leave this week we push on with Year 9 and 10 GCSE English, SATs for KS3, reports, end of year exams - the marking seems to be never ending.

Oh well, soon be half term...

Cheers!
