Non fiction & Media Texts

As the half term holiday fast approaches I'm sure that many of our members are looking forward to a well earned rest, time to take a break from the classroom and recharge the batteries ready for the run up to Christmas.

To make the next half term a little easier here at Teacher-of-English.com we've been working away to provide our members with some additional resources to prepare for the GCSE English exam. With an eye on the November entries we have produced Non Fiction and Media Texts. This resource is designed to help teachers prepare students for reading section of the English exam. So whether its AQA Paper One or WJEC Paper Two, or whatever board you're teaching to, there should be something to help the revision process. Reading Non Fiction and Media Texts also contains a series of worksheets to accompany the slides and some links to other web sites which may be of use. To take a look at the resource Reading Non Fiction and Media Texts click on the title above. This resource is now available on the PAYG pages for non-members and is free to download on the members' page for subscribers.

The next resource in the pipeline is for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This is in the early stages of development but will be a resource to help teach the play and to produce a piece of coursework. Romeo and Juliet will take up much of the half term week to produce and hopefully will be available on the website in November. Watch this space!

As always, please feel free to leave a comment. It's always good to hear from our members, so don't be shy!

Have a good week.

Regards

Martin
